Amanda LaPera

National award-winning author Amanda LaPera is a passionate advocate for individuals and families dealing with severe mental illness. She served on the Board of Directors for the National Alliance for Mental Illness, Orange County, California Affiliate. When she is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones. 

 

In addition to reading and writing, she finds joy in music, art, and nature, which she learned from her dad.
