Submissions Overview

Submissions are CURRENTLY OPEN. We accept unagented submissions.

When you submit, you are confirming that you are a human author residing in the United States that that you did NOT use generative AI in the creation of your book.

Adamo Press is seeking well-written and completed books primarily in the following genres: 

• thrillers, suspense, and mystery
• Young adult (YA)
• Middle grade fiction (MG)
• illustrated children's books
• women's fiction
• fantasy
• sci-fi
• clean romance
• literary fiction
• book series in the above genres are welcome (submit first book only but do state how many books in the series are complete)
  

It is imperative that authors determine whether or not their manuscipts are really ready for consideration. Although we accept submissions directly from authors in the United States, Adamo Press is highly selective. It only takes a few minutes to see that many of the books we publish go on to receive awards and 5-star reviews. We don't guarantee these results, but use it as an example of the caliber of writing that we seek.

Please note that although Adamo Press does not pay royalty advances, we are a traditional small press and we will never charge authors money for publication. Our authors retain negotiated rights and the royalties we pay exceed industry-standard rates.  

We seek to publish books that represent all of us, including authors and characters who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, any socio-economic status, any political identity, small town/ big city, urban/ rural, basically any human who can write a good story and has a good story to tell. We do NOT accept AI submissions.
