Thank you for your interest in Adamo Press!
Adamo Press accepts both agented and non-agented submissions and we are currently looking for well-written and completed genre fiction, literary fiction, young adult, middle grade, and children's books. We are NOT looking for cookbooks, religious books, narrative nonfiction, textbooks, short story collections, memoir, essay collections or erotica.
We only accept electronic submissions. Any queries sent to us via mail will not be read and will be destroyed. Please note, we do not accepted unsolicited manuscripts. Send us a query letter first. If we are interested, we will request your manuscript. Any unsolicited manuscripts, whether mailed or emailed to us, will not be read and will be destroyed.
To submit, send a query letter along with the first five pages of your manuscript. Insert the pages into your email. Do not send the first five pages as a separate attachment. We do not open unsolicited attachments.
Send your query to query @ adamopress.com. Write "Query," the title of your manuscript, and your last name in the subject line. Make sure to include your contact information, the number of words completed, the genre, and any publishing credits you already have.
Please let us know your credentials. In other words, why are you best person to write this book? Do you have an established platform? A marketing plan?
Response time takes on average 2-4 weeks. Be patient. We will personally respond to every query.
We wish you the best in your writing journey!
