Submissions Overview

Submissions are CURRENTLY OPEN. We accept unagented submissions.

Adamo Press is seeking well-written and completed books primarily in the following genres: 

* thrillers, suspense, and mystery

* Young adult (YA)

* Middle grade fiction (MG)

* illustrated children's books

* women's fiction

* book series, especially in YA or MG

* fantasy

* sci-fi

* some romance

* literary fiction

It is imperative that authors determine whether or not their manuscipts are really ready for consideration. Although we accept submissions directly from authors, Adamo Press is highly selective. It only takes a few minutes to see that many of the books we publish go on to receive awards and 5-star reviews. We don't guarantee these results, but use it as an example of the caliber of writing that we seek.

Please note that although Adamo Press does not pay royalty advances, we are a traditional small press and we will never charge authors any money for publication. Our authors retain negotiated rights and the royalties we pay exceed industry-standard rates.  

We seek to publish books that represent all of us, including authors and characters who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, any socio-economic status, any political identity, small town/ big city, urban/ rural, basically anyone who can write a good story and has a good story to tell.
